Getting tired of the hot days and warm nights in Vegas? Did you know Bryce Canyon is 25 degrees cooler than Vegas and it's less than a five hour drive? It's hard to describe the scenery at Bryce, so I won't. I will let the photos do the work :)
Bryce Canyon has some fantastic hiking on wonderful trails that are well signed, very different than the poorly marked trails at Red Rock Canyon. Members of Hiking Las Vegas.com can download four of the best hikes from Bryce Canyon and see such wonders as: Thor's Hammer, Wall Street and The Sinking Ship.
After a day of hiking you can stay at Ruby's Inn located less than five miles from the heart of Bryce Canyon. Ruby's Inn has comfortable rooms, resturants, an amazing general store and lots of activities for guests. Members of Hiking Las Vegas.com get a discount on rooms. See this page.
If the crowds at Bryce get to you, Red Canyon is much less crowded and only 10 miles from Bryce! The Cassidy Trail, available to members, is very scenic and there's a good chance you will have the 8 mile trail (one way) to yourself. There are several other trails in Red Canyon.
Do yourself a favor and get out of the heat and enjoy Bryce Canyon and Red Canyon this summer.
