Windows have been smashed and items stolen from cars parked at the new paved parking lot off of Blue Diamond highway. This is the paved parking lot before the gravel road to Black Velvet trailhead. Most hikers do not park here, instead drive to the trailhead. However, mountain bikers do use this parking lot. This is the third break-in I have heard of. I am sure there are more.
Do not keep anything of value in your car.
