Gold Strike Hot Springs

On Saturday (2-14), 14 hikers made their way to the hot spring and down to the Colorado River. I had not been all the way to the river in many years. It makes the hike about twice as long (two hours vs. one hour) and is well worth it. The river is too high currently to hike over to the sauna caves without getting wet and the water is very cold this time of the year.

All the ropes that assist various down climbs look like they were in good shape. I did not get into any of the hot springs (there are numerous ones), but people guessed the water temperature to be in the nineties.
