Waterfalls and Snow in Red Rock Canyon

Today (2-18), Alicia and I hiked to both the lower and upper Lost Creek Waterfalls. The lower waterfall was flowing at a good rate and the upper falls were flowing even more. As the snow continues to melt the waterfalls should increase their flow rate.

there's still a ton of snow in Red Rock. Calico Hills and Kraft Mountain are the only scrambles you can do at this time. Even if the weather stays good it will take until early March before the snow has melted.

  1. With your trail descriptions,I had awesome hikes to Anniversary Peak via the narrows yesterday, then your Bowl of Fire hike today. The desert is really gorgeous after the rains. Thanks very much for all of your trail guidance!
