No you are not seeing things and the photo is real, no Photoshop! (I do not like cold weather.) Today (1-4-09), Nick and I made it to the summit of Mummy Mountain. Yes it was cold at times and my hands were numb.I never had to put on my snowshoes. The trail up Trail Canyon was pack down and it was faster walking in snow boots. We followed footsteps up the scree slope and then stayed on the snow free ridge. The final chute to the summit was icy, but doable. We were up and down in about 4.5 hours.
