Here's what I liked:
- No break-in period
- Extremely lightweight
- Very comfortable - no blisters or hotspots
- High top for additional ankle support and help keep rocks out of the boots
- Durable. No visible wear.
Final verdict: Great backpacking and mountaineering boot. Good for hikes in Mt. Charleston and the Sierra. They are so comfortable you can use them on trails. They would not be my first choice for Red Rock hikes. They do not have sticky rubber soles.
