Last weekend we did two classic hikes in Red Rock: Bridge Point and Pine Creek Peak. These are both advance scrambles. There's an alternative route to Bridge Point once you reach the saddle between Bridge Point and Bridge Mountain. The route travels to the north side and follow a magnificent ledge to the summit. The final few photos in this slide show shows the ledge.
On Sunday, six of us hiked to Pine Creek Peak. We found a new way to gain the ridge that featured some fun and exposed climbing. It was a great addition to an already great route. Here's a slide show of that hike.
This weekend we are off to Havasupia, one of the best backpacks in the country. This is by invite only, another benefit of being a member.
