Yesterday Richard and I did a variation on the Gunsight Notch Peak hike. This route enters Gunsight Notch Canyon and then climbs onto the ridge. Awesome views, good rock, and fun scrambling make this a good alternative to the standard route. I just published the new route. Only members can download the hike by clicking here. Richard and I also placed a register at Shark Boulder. If you have not seen the hiking schedule, we are hiking to Shark Boulder on Thanksgiving. It's a short hike and we should be finished before 1 PM.
Tomorrow the plans are to finish Terrace Canyon Peak, a new peak in Red Rock Canyon. There's a climb that needs to be eliminated. This hike is on the schedule for November 18th. On Sunday, we are hiking to North Peak via Lost Creek Canyon. This is a local favorite. Since the weather is still nice, I recommend doing north facing routes before any snowfall. Hikes that come to mind are: Goodman Peak, Bridge Vista, Cleaver Crack to Mt. Wilson, Rainbow Peak (all routes), and White Rock Hills Peak Northern Route.
