Mark and I hiked to Juniper Peak via Shark boulder today. Although the smoke was visible, we did not smell it. We altered the original route slightly by eliminating one awkward climb and another problematic boulder. The photo to the left is Mark on Shark boulder. Click on the photo for a larger view.
Discovery Channel is airing a new series on Mt. Everest Tuesday nights at 10 pm. It looks interesting.
That's good to know the smoke is not too bad.
