Red Rock, Bad Weather, and Sales!


The snow is melting at Red Rock, but the major peaks all have lots of snow currently. For the most part Calico Hills is snow free. We have several routes out of Calico Basin you can do right now. These include:

I don't hike in bad weather, especially wind. At the best it's aggravating; at worse it's dangerous. I have seen hikers almost blown off cliffs, you can't hear each other, and the dust and dirt find its way into your eyes. There are too many nice days in Vegas to hike in that junk.
