It's Happening Again!

For over 10 years I have been tracking a weather phenomena. The temperatures in early June dip 10 to 20 degrees below normal for a few days and this June is no different. The forecast calls for temperatures in the eighties this weekend. The normal temperatures for early June are in the high nineties!

What does this mean? You can get in one last Red Rock hike! This is as good as it gets. With the long days and cooler temperatures, you can do one last tough hike in Red Rock. What will it be? Monument Traverse, Bridge via Ice Box Canyon, or Cleaver Crack route to Wilson. There are many to choose from.
Interesting weather facts:
Highest recorded temperature was 118°F in 1931.
On average, the warmest month is July.
The lowest recorded temperature was 8°F in 1963.
On average, the coolest month is December.
