I had to change my plans today and do easy hikes since my back was acting up. Instead of doing Calico Traverse to Turtlehead Junior, I hiked White Rock Hills Loop and then went over to check out First Creek Waterfall. As you can see it is flowing big time.
For those who don't know how to get to the waterfall (it's not signed), follow First Creek trail for about a mile and then turn right at the unmarked path. Look for the juniper tree circled in this photo. About fifty yards before the juniper tree head right onto a narrow path and continue less than 100 yards to the waterfall.
It looks like a lot of water has pooled up below the falls, too.
