Early this morning I met Sasha out at Red Rock and we took photos. Wow! The snow, clouds and light made for some amazing photos. It did not hurt having Sasha's help. She is accomplished photographer, who has exhibited her photos worldwide. I think I got some of the best photos I have ever taken!
Obviously, it will be some time before we can scramble in Red Rock again. Easy hikes to waterfalls are your best bet. These include: First Creek Waterfall, Lost Creek Waterfall, and smaller waterfalls in the canyons.
Mt. Charleston received 21 inches of snow yesterday. The ski area now has a base of 26 inches. Tomorrow calls for more snow in Charleston.
