As I was looking at Meetup's schedule I saw a Tuesday evening hike titled: Britt's Loop via Black Corridor. It looked like an interesting hike and now that I live less than 10 minutes from Red Rock I signed up for the hike. And then I realized I had named this hike after my daughter almost 12 years ago!
I like these evening hikes at Red Rock. It has a different feel than hiking in the day and the light is so much better for photography. There were 27 hikers following the twisting and somewhat challenging route through Calico Hills last night. We got back to the trailhead just before dark. Thanks to Gary for leading this hike. I look forward to more evening hikes.
